The Rock guides me through my family and friends. To me, my parents are a representation of the Rock. They tell me whats the right and the wrong thing to do. When I get weak, they lift me up and make me stronger to be ready for the next day. At school, my teachers are my representation of the rock because they help me understand what I need to know in order to survive in the real world. They give me the knowledge to understand how life works. My family symbolizes my version of the Rock. When I need some support in a certain event, they would come from long distances and cheer me on. I also consider myself as the representation of the Rock because God has taught me to become strong. If someone needs help then I can give them advice that I got from Him to make them stronger. -Matea Tindal |
Above, the scripture says, "God's my strenght power, and makes my way perfect." Well, in my daily life, the one person that helps me to make my way perfect is my father. My dad, is a very strong and intellectual indidivual. He's a minister at the Georgia Avenue Church of Christ, and he helps me every way possible. When I feel like I'm falling short with school work, or sports, he's always there to encourage me. He's the one who encourages me to read and study my bible everyday, and to get to know the scriputres a lot better. He's always there pushing me to be successful in life, and to be the best that know that I can be, and I thank him for that.
